Secondly, we are now accepting applications for our MAPS Internship! The deadline is Thursday, November 10 by 11:59 PM. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email us! For questions regarding the intern positions, please check the “Contacts” tab as our current interns have provided a short bio of themselves as well as their job positions.
MAPS has made a new Facebook page! Please go and like the page to spread the word. We can be found on Facebook @UCLAMAPS.
A few general reminders: Please make sure to read the Helpful Hints Packet before volunteering – we give tips on what to look out for as well as useful information for the Cardio Dxs, Phlebotomy, and Physician units. Please make sure to submit the Google Form – you are required to submit this even if you have been excused!

Update 9/31/16: Thank you for coming out to our interview session on Saturday! As we still have more interviews this week, all interview results will be sent out sometime during Week 6, most likely during the weekend.

Please consolidate all documents into one file: CV/Resume + Paragraph(s) + Program you are applying for. *Please note that our general M.A.P.S. Program at RRMC is near full capacity!
Interviews: All interviews will be conducted during Week 5 of the Fall Quarter.
Acceptances: Acceptances will be sent out Week 6 of the Fall Quarter.
The entire process (with training) takes about a quarter to complete.

We will be holding a M.A.P.S. Info Session on Tuesday, September 27 from 7 PM – 8 PM at Moss Auditorium in the David Geffen Medical School. The room is A2-342 MDCC.

We are currently recruiting for Fall, for both our programs at Ronald Reagan Medical Center (RRMC) and Santa Monica Hospital (SMH) as well as our third program, Fall Ambassador Program! We will be holding an information session soon, so please be on the lookout for this! (Please note that we will not be accepting applications until after our Info Session.)

As a reminder, you must have been accepted into the program, processed into the system, AND received your ID badge and Volunteer Jacket in order to attend these sessions.
Additionally, you will not be trained if you do not submit the completed Safety Observer Volunteer Contact Sheet and Pre-Training Quiz. Both documents can be found under the “Resources” tab.
