The MAPS Leadership Team is proud to present the UCLA MAPS official website. We have been planning for sometime to create a MAPS website and now it is a reality. The purpose of this website is to inform prospective volunteers what MAPS is about and to keep our current members in touch with upcoming announcements and events.
There are many features that we will be introducing. For instance, this is a blog so comments are enabled on our posts. You are free to post comments on any posts featured on the “Home” page. We ask that you keep your comments clean and respectful to others.
Upcoming events or announcements will be posted on this website as well as email to all current members. We are hoping that you will be able to RSVP online via this website or through email. This method will be much more efficient than the interns calling everyone individually to RSVP.
Volunteer monthly schedules will be posted online as well. We will send out an email notification once the monthly schedule is up either online or in the MAPS office. There will still be a printout of the monthly schedule at the MAPS office.
In addition, we would like to thank the previous interns, Marcela Rodriguez and Stephanie True, for their contribution to the MAPS program. Many of the materials used on this website were written by Marcela and Stephanie. We would like to acknowledge their contribution and wish them all the best.
Lastly, we want to thank the MAPS Administrators, Tony and Mary. We could not have done this without your support. Thank you.
